Welcome! I am a PhD Candidate in Comparative Politics in the Department of Government at Cornell University. My research focuses on party politics, political behavior and political economy primarily in advanced industrialized countries. My dissertation project examines variation in the recent rise and popularity of right-wing populist parties in Western Europe by investigating the conditions under which populist right-wing parties perform well in some local settings but not in others. This research has been supported by the Social Sciences Research Council, the Embassy of France in the United States, the Thanks to Scandinavia Foundation and the Cornell Institute for European Studies.
